Wolf On A Bridge History & Summary:

Past

After reforming The Jawas as The Jawaz in 2011, B.P. Perez AKA Brian Von Wolfe started Wolf On A Bridge Records as placeholder label for The Jawaz’ 2012 Self-titled vinly EP.  Having found some initial success with The Jawaz first release, a second release by The Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicides followed in February of 2013.  Unfortunately, after a couple projects failed to come to fruition the label went dormant sometime between 2013 and 2014.

Present

Fast forward about ten years (insert cassette fast forward noise) and Bad Motivator is conceived by Brian Von Wolfe and Javier Zuniga as recording project and records four songs at SGV Sound in Alhambra, three of which become a maxi-single cassette release in October 2023 and Wolf On A Bridge Records is revived with a new look and a new flagship band in Bad Motivator.

Future

As WOAB (Wolf On A Bridge) has served mostly as a vehicle for Brian Von Wolfe’s various music projects to be released in the digital realm or as physical media, the long-term plan is to extend beyond that scope eventually.  Having recently assisted former L.A. local band, Chintzy Bundles with digitally distributing their 2019 release “A Fistful of Bundles,” WOAB is planning on turning towards assisting local bands with navigating the music world maze, whether it be digital distribution, record pressing, or music publishing.
